.50 Cake Topper on a $500 Cake
Last summer as my brother and future sister-in-law were planning their March 2004 wedding, they mentioned that the wedding cake details were complete except they had no cake topper. The cake itself was a $500 cake from a fancy bakery and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a cake topper considering they spent so much already on the cake. A few weeks later I came across this cake topper at a yardsale - perfect condition - and for only .50

I gave it to them (and hey, since I'm such a generous person , I didn't even ask for the .50!) and let them decide if they wanted to use it it not. Well as it turns out, they LOVED it plus they were going to Disney World on their honeymoon. Here is the cake topper "before"
